It has been a busy 1st quarter for the restaurant industry in Central Florida so far. Yes over 25{046db95d2f74e62befb45db9d5374bc391f9f0549bb45361b5a058fa679ef498} of the year is gone already in 2014. We still have a lot to look forward too in 2014 regarding the Restaurant Scene in the Orlando area.

Well 4Rivers got off to a fast start. They have opened yet another BBQ Restaurant. The 4Rivers UCF location is now open. I have been told it shattered all grand opening expectations as far as guests and opening revenue projections. Speaking of the 4Rivers team, they are still in the process of opening The COOP in Winter Park off of Morse Blvd. No date set yet.  Can’t wait for that Southern Affair.

Also opening up in Winter Park in mid 2014 is Shake Shack. They have already started hiring managers for this location, I noticed their hiring managers ad on Craigslist back in March.

Caramel Cafe & Wine Bar in Winter Park will expand another location to Altamonte Springs.

One of my favorite spots Tartini Pizzeria has added another location in Apopka. Can’t wait to try.

A new BBQ and brew place will take over the Holy Smoke location.

MVPs sports bar on Conroy/Apopka Vineland Rd closed a couple of months ago. However LOUD MOUTH grill a golf theme restaurant has opened in the  same location.

The Grove at Isleworth which launched in 2011 has inked deals for Dexter’s, Jeremiah’s, BurgerFI, expect openings in 2014.

Orlando Eye Entertainment Complex on Idrive will have a bevy of restaurants including Buffalo Wild Wings, Seafood Republic, Yard House, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Cowgirls a country bar.

Can’t wait to see what goes on in the 2nd quarter of 2014.
